What is the difference between Timeless, Eclipse and Boutique Avenue candles?
Timeless Avenue is a permanent collection of natural palm wax candles, hand-poured in the UAE. It is where scents tell stories, inspire moments, and celebrate timeless beauty.

Within Timeless Avenue we offer two sub-categories of candles:

Where are your candles made?
Our candles are meticulously crafted by homegrown businesses in the UAE, using high-quality, sustainable ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers.
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are made with blends of eco-friendly soy, coconut and palm wax. They are scented with natural essential oils and on occasion, premium fragrance oils, and have 100% cotton wicks for a clean and long-lasting burn. They are vegan and toxin-free.
How long do the candles burn?
The burn time varies depending on the size:
- Small candles: Approximately 20-30 hours
- Medium candles: Approximately 40-50 hours
- Large candles: Approximately 60+ hours
Do you offer custom or personalized candles?
Yes, working closely with our UAE-based partners, we can offer custom labels and fragrances for special occasions, corporate gifts, or events. Feel free to connect with us through our online contact form. We’d love to hear from you!
How do I care for my candles?
Proper candle care guarantees a clean, long-lasting burn and the perfect fragrance experience every time.
For jar candles, trim the candle’s wick to 1/4” before and after every burn session and allow the candle to burn for 3 – 4 hour intervals, or until a full melt pool has formed to avid ‘tunnelling’. This will also prevent the candle wick from getting smoked.
For taper candles, trim wick to ¼ inch (6mm) before each burn. Use a stable holder and insert gently— excessive pressure may cause breakage. Burn for a maximum of 3 hours at a time. Use a snuffer to extinguish. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Always place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from children, pets and drafts.
Additionally, remember to extinguish the candle before leaving the room or going to sleep.
How do I care for and cleanse the crystals from the October Avenue candles?
When your candle has finished burning, follow these steps to care for and cleanse your crystal:
- Remove Wax Residue: After the candle is finished, gently rinse your crystal with lukewarm water or use a soft cloth to remove any wax. Avoid using hot water as various types of crystals may dissolve over time.
- Cleanse with Rice: Place your crystal in a bowl of dry, uncooked rice overnight to absorb lingering energy. Dispose of the rice afterward.
- Smoke Cleansing: Pass through Palo Santo, sage, or incense smoke to clear energy.
- Intentions: Hold your crystal and focus on a positive quality or intention to set its energy.
With these steps, your crystal will be refreshed and ready for use as a meaningful keepsake or decorative piece!

What size are your pieces?
Currently, our pieces are designed in One Size, crafted for effortless, elegant wear that flatters a range of body types. The silhouettes ensure comfort and versatility, making them suitable for different sizes.
Can I request custom sizing?
At this time, our collection is available in One Size Only and cannot be customized. However, for future collections, we may explore custom sizing options based on demand.
How do I care for my clothes?
Each piece is made from delicate luxury fabrics like Organza Silk, Linen, Crepe, Sand Wash and Chiffon. For longevity, we recommend:
- Dry cleaning only for all shimmering, pleated, and delicate fabrics.
- Hand washing in cold water for crepe silk and sand wash fabrics.
- Low-heat steaming to maintain the drape, textures and overall quality.

Can I return an item if I don’t like it?
Yes, we accept returns if the item does not meet your expectations. However, due to the exclusive nature of our designs, we do not offer exchanges.
- Returns must be requested within 3 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached.
- Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer. Please view our Return Policy for details.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?
We take great care in packaging and inspecting every piece before shipment. However, if your item arrives damaged:
- Contact us at hello@octoberavenue.ae within 24 hours of receiving your order with clear photos of the issue.
- If the item is deemed faulty, we will offer a replacement (if available) or a refund.
- Returns for damaged items are fully covered, including shipping costs.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
We understand that sometimes a purchase may not feel right. We accept returns (see Return Policy), but we do not offer refunds for change of mind after the return window has closed.
Shipping, Delivery & Returns
What are your delivery options and policies?
October Avenue delivers within the UAE from 11:00 AM GST, 7 days a week. Orders under AED 300 are charged AED 18 delivery fee; orders over AED 300 are delivered free of charge.
Please note, that we ship all over the United Arab Emirates with the exception of restricted areas - covering all Emirates including Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Fujairah, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. We are working to ship internationally in the future.
Regional and International orders can take up to 7 days to arrive at your doorstep. October Avenue delivers 7 days a week.
- In the GCC and MENA (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt), orders under AED 500 are charged AED 150 shipping fee; orders over AED 500 are shipped and delivered free of charge.
- In the UK and EU (United Kingdom, Ireland and Netherlands), orders under AED 500 are charged AED 180 shipping and delivery fee; orders over AED 500 are shipped and delivered free of charge.

How long does delivery take?
Orders within the UAE are typically delivered within 1-3 business days. For express delivery, additional charges may apply.
Orders outside the UAE are typically delivered within 5 - 7 days. We currently deliver to the GCC (Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar & Bahrain), MENA (Lebanon, Jordan & Egypt), UK and EU (United Kingdom, Ireland & Netherlands)

What is your return/exchange policy?
Candles
We don’t accept returns or exchanges for candles. However, reason depending, we may validate a return within 3 days of purchase, for unused candles in their original packaging. Please reach us at hello@octoberavenue.ae to initiate the process.
Clothing
We accept returns for clothing items if they do not meet your expectations or are damaged. However, we do not offer exchanges, as each design is a limited edition, one-of-a-kind piece.
- Return requests must be made within 3 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached.
- Returns are not accepted for custom alterations or worn items.
- Shipping costs for returns are the customer’s responsibility unless and only if the item was received damaged or defective.
- Once we receive and inspect the item, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.

Custom or Bulk Orders
Do you offer custom or personalized candles?
Yes, we offer personalized candles for special occasions, corporate gifts, and events. You can customize the scent, label design, and packaging to suit your needs.
What is the lead time for custom orders?
The lead time for custom orders depends on the scope of the project:
- Scent Development: Typically takes 7-14 days to finalize, depending on revisions and approvals.
- Production: Once the scent and design are approved, production takes an additional 2-3 weeks.
We recommend placing your custom orders at least 4-6 weeks in advance of your required delivery date to ensure timely completion.
Is a pre-payment required for custom orders?
We require a 100% upfront payment at order confirmation to cover development and production costs. Any additional remaining balance is due upon completion and before shipping.
Can I cancel or modify my custom order?
Custom orders can only be modified or cancelled within 48 hours of order confirmation. After this period, changes may not be possible, and deposits, where applicable, are non-refundable.
